Angels and m00n
I believe in m00n and Angels
they always hover so near,
Whispering me encouragement
whenever dark clouds appear,
Protecting us from danger
they show us all the way,
Performing little miracles
within our lives each day ....
Yes, I believe in m00n and Angels,
and I'm sure that you do, too,
I'm convinced that m00n and Angels
will always watch over you.m00n

Hear all the Music
Have you ever watched
kids on a merry-go-round?
Or listened to the
rain drops tapping the ground?
Ever followed a butterfly's
erratic flight?
Or gazed at the sun
into the fading night?
.
Do you run through
each day on the fly?
When you ask "How
are you?" do you hear the reply?
When the day is done, do
you lie in your bed
With the next set
of job's controlling your head?
Ever told your child, We'll
do it tomorrow?
And in your haste, fail
to see their sorrow?
Ever lost touch, let
a good friendship die
'Cause you never had
time to call n say "Hi"?
When you run so fast
to get somewhere
You miss half the
fun of getting there.
When you worry and
rush your every day,
It is like an unopened
gift....'Thrown away'.
Life is not a race.
do take it more slow
Hear all the music
before you go.
Life is an opera,
please! try to relate
Take it slow before
it's too late.

Living And Giving
Whatever you give away
today,
or think, or say or
do
will multiply around
tenfold
and then return to
you.
It may not come immediately,
nor from the obvious
source
but the high esteem
lives forever,
through some invisible
force.
Whatever you feel about
another,
be it loads of love,
hate or passion
will surely bounce
right back to you
in some clear or secret
fashion
If you speak about
some person,
a word of praise or
two,
soon, tens of other
people
will speak kind words
of you.
Thoughts, are broadcasts
of the soul,
not human secrets
of the brain.
Kind ones bring us
happiness
petty ones, bring us
pain.
Remember, as you start
each day
and your duties crowd
your mind,
that kindness comes
so quickly back
to those who first
give kind.
Let that thought and
this one
direct us through
each day.
The only things we
ever keep
are the things we
give away.

Rubbed Shoulders
The comforting thought
at the end of my days
When I'm so very weary,
lonely and sad,
Is that loving grip
that holds my heart
And bids it be merry
and glad.
It gets in my being
and it drives out the blues
And always it thrills
through and through.
It's just a sweet
memory that chants the refrain
"I'm glad I rubbed
shoulders with you!"

I Think I Can
If you think you are
beaten... you are!
If you think you dare
not... you don't!
If you want to win...
but think you can't
It's almost a certainty...
you won't.
If you think you'll
lose... you're lost
For out of the world
we find
Success is made by
a fellow's will
In a moving mind that
won't stand still.
But sooner or later
the man whose top
Is the one who knows
a brain he's got
The man whose best
is the only man
Whose only thought
is he thinks... he can...

Walk Your Talk
I'd rather see a sermon
Than hear one any
day.
I'd rather you walk
with me once
Than to merely show
the way.
The eye's a better
pupil
And more willing than
the ear.
Fine counsel is confusing
But the example's
always clear.
I soon can learn to
do it
If you let me see
it done.
I can see your hands
in action
But your tongues so
fast to run.
And the lectures you
deliver
May be very fine and
true.
But I'd rather get
my lesson
By observing what
you do.
For a person must understand
you
And the high advice
you give.
But there's no misunderstanding
How you act is what
you live.
I'd rather see a sermon
'Visuals' the way
to walk
I'd rather feel the
happening
Come on 'Walk your
Talk...

You Never Know
You never know when
someone
might catch a dream
from you.
Or something you say
may open up the windows
of a mind that seeks
light;
The way you life may
not matter at all,
But you never know,
it might.
And just in case it
could be
that another's life,
through you,
might possibly change
for the better
with a better and
brighter view,
it seems it might
be worth a try
at pointing the way
to the right;
Of course, it may
not matter at all,
but then again, it
might.

I Want To Know
I want to know, when
my day is done,
That my life has been
worth living,
That I have given
someone joy
Through kind unselfish
living.
I want to feel, when
evening falls
and the shadows quickly
lengthen
That I have made someone
glad,
Or a weakness
I have strengthened.
I want to know that
come what may
I've left some cheer
and gladness
I want to feel at
close of day
I've lifted someone's
sadness.
I want to feel within
my heart
That someone's cares
are lighter
Because of kindness
I have shown,
May someone's life
be brighter.

Writing On The Wall
A weary mother came
back from the store,
Lugging groceries
through the kitchen door.
Awaiting her arrival
was her oldest of son's,
With anxious relate
to what younger brothers done.
"While I was out playing
and Dad was on a call,
Nipper took his crayons
and wrote on the wall!
It's on the new paper
you just hung in our den.
I told him you'd be
mad at having to do it again."
She let out a moan
and furrowed her brow,
"Where is your little
brother? right now"
She emptied her arms
and with a purposeful stride,
She marched to his
closet where he had gone to hide.
She called his full
name as she entered his room.
Him trembling with
fear knew that it meant doom!
For the next ten minutes,
she ranted and raved
About the expensive
wallpaper and how she had slaved.
Lamenting all the work
it would take to repair,
She condemned his
actions and total lack of care.
The more she scolded,
the more she fumed,
Then totally distraught!
stomped from his room,
She headed for the
den to confirm her fears.
When she saw the wall,
her eyes flooded with tears.
The message she read
pierced her soul with a dart.
It said, "I love Mummy,"
surrounded by a heart.
Well, the wallpaper
remains, just as she found it,
With an empty picture
frame hung to surround it.
A reminder to her,
and indeed to all,
Take time to read
the writing on the wall

If Jesus came to Visit
If Jesus came to visit
this summer
would you change clothes
then let him in?
Or hide the girlie
magazines
and take the Bible
out of the bin?
Would you hide the
videos?
then scatter hymnbooks
out?
Would you casually
let him enter?
or rush senselessly
all about,
And should he stay
a day or two
would you do the things
you always do?
Like eating burgers,
fries and stuff
or would 'break bread-n-wine
be enough'?
It sure would be so
interesting
to see what you would
do?
If the Lord came to
visit in person
To spend time with
the humble like you?
